The website for the anime series A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, inspired by Masuo Kinoko’s fantasy light novels, has finally unveiled its first trailer and main visual. In addition to the main voice cast, which you can see in the cast section below, the trailer confirms that the opening theme song is titled “Prologue.”

The original novel, Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki, written by Masuo Kinoko, has been published since July 2016 by AlphaPolis. AlphaPolis then released it as a light novel with covers illustrated by Senbon Umishima, Katsuki Onda, and Susumu Kuroi in January 2017. A manga adaptation illustrated by Tomozo has been pre-published since December 2017 on the AlphaPolis website.
There are 16 volumes available in Japanese bookstores as of March 19, 2025, and the manga has 8 volumes, but both works remain unpublished in France to date. The novel won two awards (Grand Prize and Readers’ Prize) at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Award. Combining the two works and all available formats, the series has sold over 1.73 million copies.
