Hinako Sefa launched in 2009, inspired 2015 TV anime

The August issue of Houbunsha‘s Manga Time magazine revealed on Monday that Hinako Seta‘s Re-Kan! manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on August 7. The manga will feature on the issue’s front cover, and will have a color opening page.

Seta’s original manga centers around Hibiki Amami, a girl who can see ghosts and other supernatural phenomena in her surroundings. The stories follow her daily life with both her friends and the otherworldly.

Seta started the manga as a one-shot story in Houbunsha‘s Manga Time Jumbo in 2009, and then turned it into a regular series in 2010. The manga transferred to Manga Time in March 2018 after Manga Time Jumbo ceased publication. Houbunsha published the manga’s 15th compiled book volume on January 7.

The manga inspired a 13-episode TV anime adaption that premiered in Japan in April 2015. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, and Sentai filmworked licensed the anime for North America and released it on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
